6th grade ICU policy

1.       Incomplete or missing assignments and any assignments that score below an 80% can be listed on the ICU list.

a.       Daily work: students will be given one chance to correct an assignment and the better of the two grades will be accepted. (It is recommended that the student get help from a tutor, parent, or teacher to better understand the assignment before making corrections.)

b.      Tests/quizzes: students will be given one chance to retake the test/quiz. (It is important that the student study and/or get help from a parent/teacher/tutor before the retake.) The better of the two grades will be accepted.

2.       When a student gets to school, he/she should check in with their homeroom teacher to find out if they have any work on the ICU list.

a.       If they have work on the list, they must complete it that morning before they are allowed to go to the commons.

3.       After a student has accumulated any two assignments on the ICU list, they will go to the assigned Recovery Room during lunch to work on the assignments.  If a student accumulated four assignments on the ICU list by Friday morning of that week, they will be assigned Saturday School.
